As my RIB is now serviced and trailorable, please let me know when you are all going out again and I will try to come (assuming I am welcome!!)
I was out on both Friday and Saturday with the Pathfinder club and did wonder whether to come to LH this morning to see if anyone was still there. I am keen to get MARMONT on the water with you guys.
Cross channel in the summer anyone?
Les
Les, keep checking the forum and I am sure you will find a convenient date. As for cross channel this summer well nothing specific as yet

As Steve and Phil where running outboards it would be interesting to know the amount they burned.

Luckily I've sold the idea to my pal Carl and told him it will be 60 each. Plus we are planning an overnight on the boat in Lymington.
I hold 120lts which should easily get us to Lymington Yacht Haven even in my gas gusler and refuel there for the run back.

Roll on the good weather, although I have never cruised with Carl in calm seas. When we hit the water it always turns into 'The perfect Storm 2'.

Hi Robbie,

On my rib,lynx with 115hp evinrude ficht rpm between 4500 & 5500 ( 26 & 34 knots) fuel used was 80 & 100ltrs expensive, but very enjoyable 100mile trip

Only news I have Graham is they are not sure when the etec 175 is going to be in ,but i have been told that Jets Merivent will pay half of cost towards a 200 etec as these are coming into the UK quicker which would mean an extra 450, to which i said will that be this weekend but your guess is as good as mine when that will be. the marine industry is a law unto itself,

Re: Round the IOW

Why not consider an Optimax.. could go for a 150 hp like like Phil chitty which is the 2.5 litre block and quite compact ? I am sure you could get a good deal at the Sports Boat and Rib show ?
