Re: Sports Boat and Rib Show

You kept this racing lark a bit quiet Robbie,

So that is why you have not been seen much at LH.

You have been training secretly for the Honda 225 series

Last minute tips from Shelly was it then or comparing notes

what did you think of the Dry stack??

Re: Sports Boat and Rib Show

I wasn't at the dry stack long, but the system of getting the boats in and out looked very slick. However I didn't see a cafe or refreshment bar any where, and you know how I love a cup of tea and bacon sandwich along with my boating plus the tariff for my boat was bloody expensive:

120 @ LM pm
228 @ SDS pm

I don't know if it becomes more reasonable for larger boats though?

Robbie,

Like the pictures ..... we are off down there tomorrow with Ian.

SDS seems very expensive but if is a slick operation and it is close to the Solent then ????

The only thing from our point of view is we are 5 mins from LHM and about an hour from SDS so i dont really think there is any question to answer from my side

But David has not published his dry stackprices yet, The indication was that they would be similar to prices on the water which is about the same as SDS.

From my point of view LH is 69 miles and 1hour 20.

SDS is 60 miles and approx 1 hour...ummmmmmmmmmm

Yes Robbie for the smaller boat they are dearer but for a 37 footer they are slightly cheaper than awet mooring, Plus you save on the cost of antifouling each year.
