New show starts Wednesday

A new boating TV show starts transmission on Wednesday, 1st August.

Called UK Boating, it is initially aimed at a wide variety of boat users, from inland to offshore. There'll be a brand new programme every 2 weeks.

The fist show is a mix of items, including a canal boating piece, a RNLI lifeboat item, an interview with powrboat dealer Tim Reinman of Bob Spalding Marine, a piece about Mutford Lock (Oulton Broad), and another interview, this time with Gary Cleaverly of Sunseeker.

Over time, we'll gradually develop each of our boating threads. Unlike most TV shows, ours is very responsive to viewers - get in touch, and we'll reply to you individually.

We have a website and forum , but our forum is only for programme news - it isn't intended to compete with this kind of general discussion forum. The website is designed to contain our video content after it's broadcast period, but it also has news content, driven by our production companies news operation. You can find that at www.uk-boating.tv

You'll find the show on Information TV, Sky channel 167, at 6.30pm on Wednesday, 1st August. It repeats on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights at the same time, plus Sundays at 1pm. Each show repeats for 8 showings in total, with a new show after that.

I'll be interested to see what you think - but bear in mind that it is a developing thing; you'll find our attitude and style very different from most TV productions, which tell you what they want you to think!
