Another fabolous winter weekend

We took two Bella 530 boats one powered by Mercury 115 four stroke the other one Mercury 135 Optimax which is more fun to play with lot quicker on plane the one with 115 got to 42 knoths while the 135 reached 53 knoths

Temperature was -6 degrees

Was indeed great and can´t wait till Easter.. unfortunately Cheesee is still out of action

Re: Another fabolous winter weekend

-6 is cooold but all that extra perfomrance from having an intake charge that is as cold as that must be great. Like adding two points to your Compression ratio.

I got a day off today and got all fired up about workng on the boat but its raining again.

Given the choice I'd take the -6 over rain any day.

Looks like clear skies for you guys too.

Re: Another fabolous winter weekend

Just to continue be nasty..... another glorious day, few clouds in the sky warmed up a little bit -2 degrees and shall be that at least for the next three days.......

I do take cold dry weather over snow or rain.......

Indeed it was great and Easter coming up with mixed forecast in weather but hopefully I will get the tank from repair before so we can put him back in and make a new floor.

No spin on Cheesee over Easter

We swapped boat, I was on the 135 Optimax so this one is the one with 115 four stroke (4 cylinder, same base as the Verado)

Re: Another fabolous winter weekend

Well if that was the slower of the two boats, I assume the other one was not actually in the water but a few inches above at top wack!!!
