Re: Andre's New RIB

Two photos received today.

Seahawk V will be finished before Easter but I will test it 25/26 March and have it brought over early April.

Re: Andre's New RIB

Andre,
Do you get into the dog consul through the escape hatch? And what is in there?

Another stunning boat out of the Parker stable you must be very excited about picking it up.

Now then is this the RB08 boat or is there another on the way, I can't remember.

Re: Andre's New RIB

looking good Andre but think you have not chosen the best weather to cross the channel in.

I trust you have informed all your friends at HM customs about your movements.

AHHHH now i know why you chose today as they are on 24hour strike

Heard on the radio today they seized a vessel in the Itchen for drug smuggling

Looks very nice... this one seems to have music too, very nice. Apparently there is a prize being offered the pontoontalk member who guesses closest to the number of Parker stickers that appear on the boat

Re: Andre's New RIB

Well Seahawk V is now at Southampton Dry Stack.

we brought her over all the way by sea. Not shinked wrapped or on a trailer but by sea

in all about 950Nm

see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISTIulhxzdM

The route

day 1 evening run from Gdynia to Leba
day 2 Leba to Dziwnow
day 3 Dziwnow to 70km mark Kiel Kanal
day 4 70km mark Kiel to the island of Helgoland
day 5 Helgoland to Felexstowe via Den Helder
day 6 Felixstowe to Lttlehampton
day 7 Littlehampton to Southampton

we had good weather until the 7th day Selsy Bill and the Solent were waiting for us and the beating was punishing

Re: Andre's New RIB

A phenomenal journey Andre. Will it be in SB&R mag?

I've said it already, but how many of the big name builders would confidently take one of their boats imediately on a thousand mile delivery run.

Oh and its a real looker mate. Well done.

Re: Andre's New RIB

Andre,

Sounds like you had a good run over.

I take it there were no problems of a diplomatic nature and that you stuck to all the speed limits !!!
