Re: New cafe' takes shape.

I'd be quite happy to spend the day there if the food was good and good company could be guaranteed!

Re: New cafe' takes shape.

19th May, but not definite apparantly.

Nice lady taken on as manager - already forgotten her name, but thats usual for me!!

It's like that nice lady I'm married to. She thinks because I call her 'dear' and 'darling' they are terms of inderement. Truth is about ten years ago I forgot her name.

Re: New cafe' takes shape.

No razzmatazz for the opening? Shame

Have to try out the big breakfast and see if it measures up.

Re: New cafe' takes shape.

Sat on the decked patio having a large latte Saturday in the sunshine - very nice.

If only the boat wasn't bust again it could have been a 'Martini moment' rather than a can of larger scenario.

Re: New cafe' takes shape.

I spent the day at Littlehampton Marina as I was handing over a new rib to the owner and of course visited the new cafe and that is not once only a few times.

I was very pleased with the layout and the fact that you have inside and outside seating area.

Food and service first class and Alice is first class as well.

Tea tastes like tea and you even get a choice like Earl Grey perhaps or just English Breakfast and it is served in a nice cup

What I liked as well was that the brown sauce was the real thing that is HP and not any rubbish

I am a great fan of HP sauce and believe it is a mark of a good establishment.

I will now have to arrange a Littlehampton cruise for Seahawk V and come round one Saturday
