weekend 24/25

Any body about this weekend launching at Littlehampton?
I think we have got the rev problem sorted (or at least no what it is) on the scarab so going to give it a test (if its not raining). Any one else about for a quick blast?

Steve

what kind of powder coating cos for battery boxes you should use Plascoat PPA 653 and coat by fluidizing not electrostatic
it is a thicker coating and resistant to acid

Re: weekend 24/25

Ha the weather was not good and some big waves of shore had the boat standing on its transom and my passengers screaming like girls so after 100 yards had to bring it back in to safe waters a couple of pics ( not from the ruff stuff as had to hold on to the throttle and wheel rather than a camera)Name: Boat Littlehampton & Shoreham 22 & 23 Aug 2009 020.jpg

Re: weekend 24/25

As Mark says today was cold and very breezy. However I was down with Matt and after having a look at how very choppy it was desided to have a run up river as Matt was quite keen to see the engine running. We saw the big yellow Sarab comming the other towards us on our way, and met up with Mark later on the sipway washing down.
That is an impressive rig Mark what with the boat and the rimms on the tow waggon!!

Re: weekend 24/25

Did not venture out as the forecast was force 5 to 6 in the Solent,
While i know the boat can handle that i need to get used to it first. spent the day instead with polish and cloth giving the boat a clean, Looking better already, Just the engine bay left, !!

Your boat and towing rig looks fantastic set up Mark
