Re: Garage boating

Looks like you're enjoying every minute of that Rob.

Is that the cylinder head lifting timber being recycled for the bell housing support?

I guess you were flat out with the opportunity of the weather window.

Re: Garage boating

Well spotted Steve, just the right size and I could do away with two of the smaller holes in the disc cut out.

New set of plugs and job done now really. It seems like the longest rebuild in history, but a lot has happened in my life since I started with the cylinder head months ago. I'm still getting involved with probate and weekends house clearing my parents home.

But on a lighter note I'm looking forwards to getting the engine back in the old girl and taking her out for a run. There have been times when I was tempted to just cut the stern to shreads and bolt a Verardo on the back.

Re: Garage boating

Well !!
Loaded ready to go
Started first time on the pallet.
Still running and warming up nicely.
Tight fit but went in, outdrive on and looking good.
Just a couple of finishing off bits to do but a very nice job.

Re: Garage boating

The few bits to finish took a bit longer than expected so Adrian and I got away around 10ish on Sunday but she was running very nicely.

A bit dark but it was late and Arian 'on lighting' only had a torch?

I'm dead chuffed with it all.
