Re: Ian's new boat

Well its been a year to the day that i finally achieved my dream of owning a Hunton.

The boat has lived up to all my expectations and very pleased with the boat.

I have to say also that Martin from Hunton Sales has been exceptional and always willing to answer any questions.
Jeff as well always has a smile and willing to put ideas forward.

After the first year of ownership have i purchased the right boat??
There can only be one answer to that YES.

For those that have joined me i am sure they will agree that Hunton make a fantastic boat and even though mine is 11 years old it has not dated and looks stunning either out on the water or tied up in Cowes.
Here's to many more years of enjoyment.

the sea keeping is second to know and handles everything that the solent has thrown at us so far.

Well my friend speeking as someone who has driven your phenomenal boat flat-out down the Solent dodging sailing boats and taking a long sweeping turn into Newtown Quay. I can only agree totally with your comments.

At first I couldn't see what you were raving about! Excellent boat Ian I agree.

Timeless styling,
Real engineering,
Truely offshore capable Sports boat,
Backed up by a company that doesnt turn their back on you but stands by their products for life.

Ian I've got a few videos on Youtube you might like to see.

Copy this into the Youtube search -

Should be 5 of them.

Re: Ian's new boat

Legs painted and back on FT
The transom shields will be painted when the engines come out and painted. this will prob be 2013 as 2012 wish to get a full season boating in,

I have spoken to the person who painted the legs and now understand what is involved. legs blasted back to bare metal acid etched at least 8 coats of primer then colour then several coats of lacquer.
When the engines come out all parts are painted and then re-assembled. He has painted a pair of KAD44's in a Sunseeker at Saxon and the engines look better than new
