moving (again) Part 1

Some pics for you of some very dodgy goings on....

1/ Lorry hitched as you can see trailer pin was too high for little urban artic unit. 14" too high.

2/Dodgy spacers holding up and little compression.

3/ Stuff all out of the way, but will the brakes come off? aaarg!

4/ Now in pther side of Barn with Concrete floor, lush , yum.

5/ Steel benches from Gosport factory closure, wall now painted white in Barn.

6/ gantries being used to lift yard trailer chassis from wheels and artic trailer.

7/ front view after trailer removed.

8/ Plywood wall now in place in centre of barns.

Re: moving (again) Part 2

I'm not done yet

1/ Lifting in the beam, Barn now has a center wall too. Nearly Secure, dry, warm and free of chicken poo.
2/ Beam lifted up and welded into place.
3/ Installing the uprights.
4/ Starting to fit the door.
5/ Door now in place but roof line and trim still missing.
6/ Donzi now on painted floor and walls painted white. Strip lights are held onto RSJ's by magnets, you can move the around and stick the on the trailer too.
7/ Getting cleaned up and ready to get back on the project...again.

Re: moving (again) Part 1

is that a Porsche in the next door barn ??

Lots of progress and you now have a clean workshop to work on boat and store during the winter.

Reckon you could get another couple of boats in there over winter and still work on them

Well I am very impressed, looks like you have really put some time, effort and money into that 'barn conversion' really looks very proffessional.....assume thats free rent for ever

I seem to remember that smart looking red boat too... just not sure where from.....!

Look forward to seeing the boat renovations now.
