Carbon Fibre Dipped Parts

Hello everyone,

Just recently we have been finishing alot of boat parts for a number of the local marine service guys in Poole/Dorset. The sort of stuff that we have done recently has been:
Throttle Assembly
Vent Covers
Control Panels
Steering Panel

All of these we have finished in Black Carbon Fibre (as per the picture attached to this message) but you can have any colour you want as we spray each of the parts to order. I will get the guys who we have supplied the other parts to, to photograph them for me so that I can pin them on here for you all to see, as I hope that I can pick up some work from this forum.

To give you some idea of price - the vents in the picture are 120 each. Everything is sprayed, dipped, lacquered and polished. I am sure the guys that we have been doing this work for have been charging considerably more so, hopefully this way, it will benefit everyone.

Turnaround is about a week.

Re: Carbon Fibre Dipped Parts

Hello Ian,

We paint and Dip whatever parts you want. If you have a dash on your boat that you want doing you will have to strip it off and send it to me so that i can finish it and send it back. Otherwise I can get it made up, or you could buy one, of say ebay, and replace the one on the boat with my finished part.

I have done about 4 dash's recently, one based on an alu' plate the other 3 were on GRP, all looked good when finished.

I will happily give you the names of the marine companies I did the work for, if you want to speak to them about the quality of the work.

Cheers

Phil

Hi Phil

You say painted / dipped.

Is the carbon look painted on from a template or is it carbon wrap and then laqured / dipped over the top ?

Regards
Mark

Hello Mark,

No it is not a carbon fibre wrap. Please see the you tube video. This is probably the easiest way to explain how it is done.
