Sat 27th Oct

Not to sure on the weather yet but John Rowe was planning on getting a number of boats out for a trip to either Bembridge or Brighton.

The tides are looking good and David F has given us free over night mooring if we can't all get back in on a mad rush to recover by 4.30 ................. what a nice chap he is

Just have to wait and see how the weather pans out for the end of the week now ????

Re: Sat 27th Oct

A couple of us got out first thing yesterday morning and managed to run down to Worthing Pier and back.

Then the wind started to get up so we decided to come back in at about 12 ish.

Re: Sat 27th Oct

I went down with the boys about 12-30pm and saw 'Flat Calm' Ian. He said you had been out and that it chopped up.
We planned to go out but it started raining as we arrived at LM and then basically just got worse, so joined in the LMBHA BBQ which was very nice and went home.

Re: Sat 27th Oct

We popped in the Rope Walk cafe for a quick bacon sarny but mainly to keep dry and warm up a bit.

The weather forcast on the tele shows a big high comming over the south of England, wonder if it will hang around till the end of the week

Re: Sat 27th Oct

You're right Ian. I've just looked - its a total dry out weekend. As I said before the irony is you could make it over the bar now but the marina can't launch you!!!!

Re: Sat 27th Oct

Still do not think I would take the chance of going over the bar.

Well may do if you went out first and i followed

Even if the marina could launch me.
