Re: Sunday 23rd December

I hope you're right?
Only BBC weather says thick fog and 12-13 MPH wind for all the south coast.
I'm going down tomorrow and might give the old girl a run up the river, only Mary is going to be with me and her leg is not up to a sea blast.

Re: Sunday 23rd December

Well Metcheck got it right and The BBC / The Metoffice where completly wrong

It has to have been one of the best days of the year ....... if only a little on the cold side.

Managed to get her up to 45 mph with 4800 on the clock so the 21 pitch is obviously the correct prop for he to run

Ian took some photo's and will no boubt post them on here later.

Well not exactly. The really thick fog was less than a mile inland and streached all the way up to Redhill. In fact I could hardly see the road ahead at times on the way down and going back home.

The pictures look really good and I will have to come down and give Sali a good blast. 'At least I know the engine still starts' allbeit with a little cold start spray and a cough and plutter to begin with!!!

I have'nt put the boat in the water since September so I hope I can remember how to do it still.
