Sat/Sun 31st/1st

I'm planning to try out the old girl this weekend now at great expense (again) she is up and running. Then out and start rebuilding the bits I took off.

Saturday looks like a much better day according to Ian's new weather website with low wind speed and small waves, but an earlier start with high tide around 08-30hrs.

Sunday is a lot windier and bigger seas which could be fun but not for the first test run in 5 months.

Re: Sat/Sun 31st/1st

Went out Saturday and it was virtually flat calm.

Ian and myself decided to take a trip to Brighton to meet up with Nick and co.

Shame the trip back was a little spoilt by over zelous beach patrol.
We unfortunately were just the wrong sideof the yellow bouys by worthing. Which are not at all laid out in a straight line

No one else at sea but they still pulled us over for going too fast

Re: Sat/Sun 31st/1st

Well I got out for the first time in nearly 5 months.
First brand new trim pump leaked and went off like an aerosol but this new replacement seemed to be working fine after fitting it. Went out for a spin and the motor ripped the new pump to shreads.
I'm thinking about taking up basket weaving.

Scott it was good chatting with you, did you get back out Sunday if so how was it.

Yeap good results for us. Tryed a few props. Mostly rough water props as we wanted to see what they would top out at top speed wise incase we ever got caught out in the flat with one on.

Havent seen it that flat off L.A for a while!

Quite boring for us!
