Re: Easter bank holiday

Hi Mark,

Well we went out on the Sunday over Easter,
First trip out this year.
boat started first time and ran really well. over to Cowes for lunch then back again.

The price of fuel has shot up since last year.
I paid 1.04 for Diesel but petrol was 1.44 per litre
spending Saturday cleaning the boat from the winter Grime. may go for quick spin.

Have to catch up soon

Re: Easter bank holiday

Ian that sounds great maybe join you for a spot of lunch over at cowes would be good as never been apart from in a car many years ago.

Good news on the boat starting and running well, and with the price of petrol going up all the time arn't you glade you got diesels, that have a sniff at the fuel then just a little sip at it when you open it up.

My yanmar is unbelivable on fuel compared with the two petrol 225 Johnsons I had before on the Ring24. I don't care how often I use it now.

Yesterday was running 3900rpm at 40 knots so not to bad for a single engined 28 with an old oil burning pig iron lump in the back.

I scream pass all the petrol boats now............................(when there on the fuel pontoon)
