Re: Steve's Boat

Set off at 6AM to collect the 1st new cylinder block today. As usual docs in the box are different from the PDF's on the website.

So opened box read notes on studs from other suppliers may be to long for 'ols and now working on finding this out too.

Pic of Block later. Poss the biggest piece of bling I've ever bought.

Re: Steve's Boat

Still, got a way to go in getting the workshop sorted out again.

Everything 101 has been sold off. the Rangie should be gone by Xmas. The trailer ends this week.

I picked up a crank today. Now waiting on rods and pistons to get the rotating assy balanced and the block bored and prepped.

There you go, your next update :D

Re: Steve's Boat

On the way back from Peterborough, swung past Sittingbourne and picked up the little wheels that have been Galved.

Just need the stainless bolts and the tyres can go on , another job jobbed as they say.

Chimney stack goes up on the workshop Jan 2/3rd so the Fibreglass renovations can start anytime after that I guess.

You thinks so? I think given a couple of years it'll all be dull and grey .

Steve's Boat

Took 1 cylinder block to be bored to suit
8 really beautifully made
Pistons. 2nd crank and two sets of rods arrive in two weeks time so hopefully in three weeks time I might have the it back all bored to suit pistons deck heights sorted and cam bearings all in the right place.

Cosmetic fibreglass work starts this hopefully this sat. Now need to remove all Vynils from the cockpit and have that lot recovered.

Size: 151.1 KBTook all the deck furniture off this week. In anticipation of starting the Gel coat repairs this Weekend. I sent the cleats away to be modified and they 're back already. Had bolts welded in, the shoulders wasted away, the ends radiused off and some serious backing plates made to suit.
