Re: London Boat Show 2007

I would suggest we make a rule of attending the same day on each show, each year.

That way we all know when we are likely to be going.

Anyone object to the last saturday? A weekend date allows wifes and children to get there pounds worth out of their tickets .

Means you can back to back another london night out too by staying over at the waldorf or Claridges, or under a hyde park bench.

Re: London Boat Show 2007

Now totally confused as to the day we all going.

majority voted for the 14th which is Sunday

Just spoken with eldest son and the sunday is going to be easier for him to take off work,

Plus on last day may be able to pick up some bargains as dealers want to sell off stock

Re: London Boat Show 2007

Steve,

Looks like i have fallen into line with your closing statement -

I am definatly as good as my last cock up !!!!

I came into LA Harbour yesterday like a dog with two d**** and as i was posing to the crowd i stood up and pulled the kill cord !!!!!!

PANIC WAS WRITTEN ALL OVER MY FACE AS I DID NOT KNOW WHAT HAD HAPPENED AND I WAS DRIFTING TOWARD THE WALL !!!!

You would have laughed you head off if you had seen it ..............

And to answer the original question yes i meant Sunday 14th

Trust this clears up the confusion for you to Ian ................ or has it just made it worse ??

Nick

Re: London Boat Show 2007

Sunday 14th good for me too.

Nick it might do to tie the kill cord around your knee not your arm. That way you won't have an engine failure when you point out a landmark. Not that that has ever hapened to me you understand.
The best one was when I hit a wave about two miles out and the engine died immediately, I had the engine bay open looking for an obvious cause. I was just about to call on the radio for help when I noticed that a bag had fallen over when I hit the wave and the handle had turned the red battery supply key to off, turned it back to on and the boat started straight away.

Just looking through old LBS web sites and saw this. No wonder they wanted to relocate !!
