Ring 25 Sportscruiser

After much deliberation I have placed an order for a new Ring 25 Sportscruiser.

The boat is in production, and I will post pictures during the build. The hull and deck will be… white!, with a blue wind deflector band. The engine will be a Mercruiser 496 HO with a Bravo 1 x drive. The exhausts will switchable through the transom or propellor.

I have started purchasing various parts from the USA already. The service has been excellent, with most parts arriving within about 7-10 days.

Here are some pictures of the some of the parts which have arrived so far :-

So when do you expect to have this on the water?

that is good service from the states. I take it that the parts still cheaper after Tax ETC?

Re: Ring 25 Sportscruiser

Graham - Its no bad thing ditching the pink.

The anodized blue looks really good, what dials are you fitting inside those blue bezels, and that switchable exhaust looks an incredible bit of kit.
Any idea what HP this engine setup will push out?

What are you having fitted up the sharp end, a bow tank, void, or cuddy?

A lot of questions I know, but these are important things that need answers.

Re: Ring 25 Sportscruiser

Hi Robbie - the engine will be 420HP (Mercruiser 496 HO), and the boat will have a cuddy cabin. There will not be a bow tank, I have been reliable informed that it will not need one... we'll see !

The gauges will be the standard Mercruiser ones to start with.

Phil - unfortunately Mike's website is geared solely to RIBS at the moment.Hull and deck being moulded now, so will post some pictures in next couple of weeks.

Have you moved yours to Chichester now ?

Re: Ring 25 Sportscruiser

Graham,

looks like a lot of work is needed between now and the 27th April.
You have agreed 2007 not 2008

Hope all goes to plan or as you were saying yesterday you loose your engine rigging slot
