Re: Ring 25 Sportscruiser

Congrats Graham, she's a fine looking craft.

I'm sure you'll have fine times when the build problems become a distant memory and the weather improves.

Whats the run in time on the engine?
I presume you're having to be a bit light with the throttle at the moment?

Re: Ring 25 Sportscruiser

In the water and four up she looks huge compared with the 21.

Another flat calm day today which was good as I had an engine timing problem yesterday when we were out. So went down again today (any excuse) with a strobe and set things straight and had a short but great blast.

Re: Ring 25 Sportscruiser

Graham I read the article in Sportsboat & RIB mag. It was a good read and gave a good insight too the stresses you went through to aquire such a great boat. One thing that crossed my mind was that for a three page spread and an interesting subject so directly conected to the magazines subject matter. Did they put their hands in their pockets and pay for the petrol used for the demonstration?

Also have you heard if Mike Ring has had any orders come through for more builds cause where do you go if you want a new big powerful sports cruiser without tubes stuck round the outside, and not an American 40ft pencil with a quarter million pound price tag?
Malta or.......'er' Malta.

Re: Ring 25 Sportscruiser

I have yet to read the article, but have various people call me about it. I have e-mailed Sportsboat and Rib and hope to hear from them today.

Mike has a great product and I hope it reminds people that there are still some great sportsboats built in the UK; I hope it generates some interest.
