Demise of Solent TV

On the Local News last night it was announced that Solent TV Sky channel 219 has closed down with the loss of all jobs.

Was a shame as they were showing a lot of Powerboat racing from the Honda Series

Re: Demise of Solent TV

I noticed last night when I went to watch the Honda 225 coverage.

Damn shame. Only decent place to get coverage of Solent news and events.

Re: Demise of Solent TV

Trouble was it was aimed at a very small audience with only the powerboating being of real interest to the rest of its potential veiwers. It rarely showed the programmes as advertised, and showed some of the worst black & white films ever made. But as for where to go now for regular powerboating I don't know.
